The gyroscope sensor measures its angular rotation up to 300 degrees/second. Its output it not affected by gravity, unlike the accelerometer. There is also a temperature output. Applications include mounting on instruments, mechanical installations, and other surfaces that may be in some form of motion. Industry standard voltage range of 0.25-4.75 Volts.
